ozone-therapy

Ozone (molecular O3) is formed when the oxygen atoms in oxygen (molecular O2) are split and then recombine into a triplet molecule.

90% of the earth’s ozone layer is formed when the sun’s ultraviolet energy hits oxygen.

Medical Ozone Therapy is the use of ozone in medicine. It can be used outside the body (on the skin) and also inside the body (referred to as “systemic” Ozone Therapy Treatments). Ozone is used openly in medicine around the world, mainly in Europe, Asia, and South America.

How does Ozone act?

  • Ozone acts by modulating the immune system, it strengthens the immune system and protects from illness and also helps recovery.
  • Ozone optimizes oxygen utilization by the tissues and cells.
  • Ozone prevents infections by killing bacteria and viruses.
  • Ozone decreases the free radical damage.

The various modalities of administering ozone are

  • Rectal Insufflation – infusing ozone into the rectum .
  • Major Autohemotherapy – removing blood, ozonating it, returning it to the patient.
  • Minor Autohemotherapy – remove a small amount of blood (10cc), ozonate it, inject it into muscle.
  • Ozone Sauna

OZONE is used in a wide range of medical conditions like

  • Coronary artery and cardiovascular disease
  • Claudication
  • Gangrene
  • Pain
  • Macular degeneration
  • Aging
  • Oncology
  • Chronic viral infection

Oxygen is our most critical nutrient, and it’s available to everyone. The difference between someone young and an older person is the efficiency at which they utilize oxygen. The key to the treatment and prevention of disease is optimum oxygen utilization. Health is not the absence of symptoms, disease, abnormal tests.

Health is the presence of something – Optimum Oxygen Utilization

Aging and the diseases of aging are primarily caused by decreased oxygen utilization which in turn leads to excessive free radical production, Some of the symptoms of decreased oxygen utilization are

  • Breathlessness on exertion
  • Very low exercise tolerance
  • cold intolerance
  • Decreased body temperature
  • Frequently falling ill
  • Weakness
  • Fatigue
  • Generalized pain

Decreased oxygen utilization generates excessive free radicals which prevents cells from undergoing proper and complete repair and eventually leads to cell death.

Other ways to improve oxygen utilization is through

  • Diet
  • Detoxification
  • Hormone replacement
  • Stress Control: regular exercise, sleep and avoid Coffee, alcohol, sugar
